The introduction of mixed feeding should start at earliest after 4. month of age and not after 6. month of age. There are 4 or 5 months old babies that cannot meet their needs only by breast milk and in which the mixed feeding is necessary for proper growth.

On the other hand, there are babies for which the breast milk is sufficient until 6 month of age, so the introducing of mixed feeding starts then.

The introduction of mixed feeding is done in accordance with the development of your child.
